Hiking trails
There's a popular mixed-use trail that starts a short walk away. The loop trail is 6.7 miles, with a ~1200 ft elevation change. Other shorter trails take you in and around the canyon. Dogs are allowed on a leash.
Rambler trail (easy elevation, 30 mins) features an old car that's buried in the mud.
Finch trail (moderate elevation, 45 mins) has a gorgeous tree summit (in the picture) which you get to after a short climb.
Canyon creek, Chapparal, Ohlone, Rambler trail (moderate elevation, 50 mins). Reaches the Hidden Canyon Park entrance and loops back to Rambler.
Where to park
Park to the right/left of the entrance to the court. It's a small road, so please stay within the lines.
What to wear
Comfortable clothes & hiking shoes (with treads). NO FLIP FLOPS or FLAT SOLED SHOES for your own safety.
Fall / Winter - Wear track pants/ joggers and a warm jacket (dress in layers)
Summer - Shorts & t-shirts and a light jacket
What to bring
Carryable water (preferably in backpacks)
Snacks (if you need the occasional sugar)
Sunscreen
