Spring 2022

Our first spring was magical. Wildflowers everywhere we went, especially close to the coastal edge of our county. There were lots of new birds, flowers, insects, and animals to keep us occupied. Most evenings are spent indoors to stay away from strong Pacific winds. Turns out it gets really windy during odd days in Spring and Summer. It's still one of the best seasons to visit California in my opinion.

There are flowers blooming everywhere, especially in our neighborhood. This year my parents joined us as we celebrated Ugadi and welcomed 2022 along with the family.

A highlight of this spring was a visit to Filoli gardens, a historic house & estate situated 10 mins from our home. Their gardens are in full bloom with Tulips, Lavender, Roses and several other rare flowers and orchids. Be sure to check out the link.
